This major renovation for The DeSoto included a total refresh of all guestrooms and public areas of the hotel from lobby to meeting rooms to restaurants in conjunction with the Owner’s interior design team. Located in the heart of the Historic District, The DeSoto was rebranded as a boutique independent hotel for Southerly Hotels in 2017. LS3P transformed the former dining area with the addition of a show kitchen, reconfigured the food service to improve operational efficiency, and developed designs to refresh the existing bar and create an outdoor dining venue, the 1540 Room. Outdoors, the renovated pool deck features upgraded finishes and sun shading.
