LS3P’s strength lies in our people. Our team is founded upon a diverse, energetic collection of talented individuals who value excellence, collaboration, and innovation. We believe that every voice matters, and that through design thinking and teamwork, we are catalysts for positive change for our clients and communities.

Culture

At LS3P, our values translate directly into a culture of active engagement and a collegial atmosphere. We support sustainable design, community involvement, and strong ties with our local colleges and universities. Our community outreach includes engagement with and support of our academic communities through volunteering, investment, and graduate studio partnerships. We donate up to 1% of our design hours to pro bono efforts through our “Design In-Kind” program, and we frequently participate in fundraisers and events for community and nonprofit organizations in the communities in which we live and serve.

Each of our individual offices celebrates its own unique traditions and events; however, we embrace a “one firm” attitude which unifies us through a spirt of collaboration and shared values.

Diversity + Inclusion

We believe that encouraging a wide variety of perspectives leads to a stronger community, a stronger firm, and stronger designs for all. LS3P proudly leads and participates in efforts to increase diversity in the field of architecture, and actively supports programs such as the ACE mentorship program.  We host a Fellow from the National Organization for Minority Architects (NOMA) each summer, and participate in NOMA’s Project Pipeline which allows high school students to experience hands-on architecture and construction projects under the guidance of industry professionals. Our Diversity + Inclusion Advocacy Group fosters conversations on JEDI initiatives, advancing women in leadership, diversity recruiting, and continually taking steps toward an inclusive design environment.

Learning + Development

Our people are lifelong learners, and we support their ongoing professional development with a variety of programs. LS3P Academy is our internal repository for learning series such as The Art of Presenting and Leadership Lessons. We offer a professional development allowance, licensure support and coverage of annual renewal costs, structured lunch and learns, and much more. Leadership by Design is a year-long fellowship covering topics such as ambassadorship, emotional intelligence, and global leadership.

Internships

LS3P hosts student interns at the graduate, undergraduate, and even high school level, and we are delighted that our interns bring us new ideas, talent, and energy while gaining valuable career experience. Our most recent class of interns focused on architecture, interior design, writing, marketing, and communications and hailed from 10 colleges and universities. Our most diverse class of interns to date, these talented students represent 8 states and 19 cities.

Benefits

Our competitive salaries and benefits serve one purpose: supporting our talented team of design thinkers, collaborators, problem solvers, and hard workers. We offer a benefits package designed to help our employees thrive. Options include medical, dental, and vision insurance; disability benefits; paid holidays, vacation, and sick leave; flexible work hours; retirement planning options; wellness programs; opportunities for professional advancement; and community involvement in the cities we design.
