Melissa Watness brings over 20 years of design experience, and is a graduate of Savannah College of Art and Design with both a Bachelor and a Master of Architecture. Melissa works extensively in education design; her diverse portfolio also includes behavioral health, recreation/sports tourism, commercial, and hospitality projects.

As Project Architect for the Shoreline Behavioral Health Substance Use Disorder Expansion, Melissa’s goal is to create a safe and modern environment for the patients which adheres to the client’s desires and budget. She has earned a reputation for being responsive and accessible through all phases of design and construction, and she is adept at asking the right questions and listening to her clients.  Melissa also possesses a vast knowledge of construction detailing and systems coordination.
