Project Architect

Associate Principal

Associate Principal Matthew Santilli works on a wide variety of projects within the commercial sector, and brings his creativity, attention to detail, and sustainable design knowledge to each project. Matthew joined LS3P in 2008 after graduating with Honors from Clemson University where he earned his Master of Architecture; he also enjoys utilizing his background in Interior Design to create an interior environment that strengthens the overall architectural design.

Matthew has demonstrated particular expertise in the area of sustainability. Early in career he became a LEED AP and now holds LEED AP BD+C specialization. His involvement in 7 LEED® and Green Globe projects (in the lead administrator role for six of these) has been invaluable to project success. As Greenville office representative for LS3P’s Integrate Core Competency Board dedicated to high performance design, Matthew has worked diligently to advance sustainability goals firmwide including AIA2030 reporting, material and technology advancements, measurement and verification, and daylighting. As an emerging professional in 2009, Matthew was featured as a guest speaker at the Worship Facilities Conference & Expo, delivering a presentation on “A Team Building Approach to a LEED® Building Project.” His leadership in this area is an invaluable asset to the firm, and his advocacy for sustainability efforts raises the bar for our collective efforts.
