Principal Andrew Alicandri serves as the leader of LS3P Charlotte’s K-12 studio. With a significant portfolio of work for diverse K-12 school systems, Andy brings over 20 years of experience in planning, design, and project management focused on design excellence for learning environments. He is highly experienced in navigating all project phases from predesign through project closeout, and has earned a reputation as a team player dedicated to win/win solutions. Andy prefers to be involved in a project from beginning to be sure that initial concepts and ideas are woven into the final design.

A graduate of the New Jersey Institute of Technology with a dual Master of Architecture and Management, Andy is certified in Crime Prevention through Environmental Design (CPTED). He is a LEED Accredited Professional with expertise in sustainable, high performance design and other best practices to deliver high quality educational facilities. He particularly enjoys the process of engaging with all project stakeholders to build consensus and uniting people around common goals for educational design excellence.
