This two-story, 32,669 SF facility supports a growing health science and nursing education program while expressing the balance of care and precision central to the profession. The design organizes program spaces, massing, and material expression to reflect both the human and technical aspects of nursing education, creating a cohesive environment for learning, collaboration, and community engagement.

Program & Learning Environment

The facility provides expanded space for nursing education with contemporary labs, classrooms, and support areas designed to accommodate evolving instructional needs. A gracious lobby and pre-function space serve a 200-seat auditorium, offering flexibility for academic use as well as campus and community events. These shared spaces foster interaction among students, faculty, and visitors while supporting a range of program activities.

Campus Integration & Sustainability

The building opens to a courtyard that extends the lobby experience outdoors, reinforcing connections to nature and supporting informal collaboration. Material choices reflect the technological character of the healthcare field while aligning with the surrounding campus context. Site improvements include additional parking to support the new facility. The project is certified Two Green Globes, reflecting a commitment to environmental responsibility in both design and construction.
