LS3P led the design team for this task order under a Single Award Task Order Contract (SATOC) with a $500 million capacity. Supporting the BRAC-directed relocation of the U.S. Army Armor Center from Fort Knox, Kentucky, to Fort Moore, Georgia, the project delivers essential training and support facilities for entry-level Army recruits.

This initial task order included four battalion complexes across two locations at Fort Moore: Harmony Church and Sand Hill. The project provides 20 barracks totaling 4,800 beds, a brigade headquarters, four battalion headquarters, 20 company operations facilities, 20 weapons storage vaults, two dining facilities capable of serving 4,800 meals three times daily, four running tracks, a parade field, and 20 exercise pits. The scope also encompassed extensive site development across approximately 105 acres and integration with the broader infrastructure master plan for the future growth of the Harmony Church area.
Efficient Delivery Through Design-Build Innovation
The project incorporated innovative design-build strategies to deliver durable, cost-effective facilities on an accelerated schedule. These approaches included the use of precast wall panels, pre-engineered metal buildings, and off-site fabrication of key mechanical systems, helping streamline construction while supporting the scale and complexity of the development.
