S&ME, an engineering firm specializing in geotechnical, environmental, civil, and construction services, is dedicated to solving complex challenges and positively impacting communities. This upfit project aimed to transform their existing office space into a modern, elevated headquarters in Raleigh, NC. This initiative involved renovating and reconfiguring the office and consolidating two former locations into one cohesive workspace.

The LS3P design team focused on creating an environment that supported team collaboration and fostered a sense of community among employees. The design optimized the office layout to better serve the needs of employees and the organization, implementing a sophisticated design that aligned with S&ME’s brand and vision.

Prioritizing employee health and well-being was key, making S&ME an attractive place to work and promoting long-term retention. By addressing outdated elements and incorporating forward-facing spaces for visitors and clients, the new headquarters offers an enhanced experience for all.
