Jim Williams joined LS3P in 1991, and serves as Vice President and Studio Leader in LS3P’s Charlotte office. With a Bachelor of Arts in Design and a Master of Architecture from Clemson University, Jim has developed a diverse portfolio of corporate designs including corporate offices, mixed-use urban developments, upscale commercial retail venues, public libraries, and recreational and wellness facilities. His is particularly skilled at master planning of integrated mixed-use developments and creating architecture which is distinctive, yet respectful of its context and culture.
Notable projects include Charlotte’s Piedmont Town Center, Morrocroft Center, and Phillips Place. Significant current projects include Capitol Towers at Southpark in Charlotte and Courier Square in Charleston. Jim is a graduate of Leadership Charlotte, and has served as a regional and national panelist for Urban Land Institute colloquia.
