With 25 years of experience in facility design for academic, corporate commercial, and retail projects, David Loy excels at helping his clients navigate the design and construction process.  He believes that it is an honor and privilege to be invited into a client’s world to help them solve problems, be a part of the solution, and help them to realize their vision, and he strives to build successful relationships that result in a winning, teamwork-based building experience.

With a Master of Architecture from Clemson University, David has served as Studio Leader, OFM, Vice President, and Principal for the firm. His diverse portfolio includes academic projects such as Johnson & Wales, corporate commercial projects such as the headquarters for Lowe’s and Electrolux, retail projects at all scales, airport designs, and healthcare projects for major medical systems.

When not designing, David is a proud husband and proud father of two, a Youth Ministry volunteer and Sunday school teacher at GSUMC, and a volunteer at the Charlotte Rescue Mission. His hobbies include photography, painting, sketching, poetry, and creating fused glass art.
