LS3P, in partnership with HDR, is shaping the future of healthcare through the innovative design of the Indian Land campus—an agile, forward-thinking project guided by a unified OneMUSC vision. Anchored by a 51-bed hospital and a three-story medical office building, the master plan spans 20 acres and embraces a collaborative, accelerated delivery model that integrates programming, room standardization, and budget validation from day one.
To ensure precision and efficiency, the project harnesses the Target Value Delivery method—engaging the design team, owner, and construction manager in real-time collaboration to meet schedule and cost targets. Scalable by design, the campus anticipates growth with planned hospital expansions and future medical office buildings.
Pushing the boundaries of construction innovation, the facility incorporates exterior pre-fabricated wall panels and interior systems such as modular electrical/mechanical assemblies, elevator systems, and bathroom pods. Strategic early-release packages further streamline the process, reflecting a bold, systems-based approach to delivering high-performance healthcare environments with speed, accuracy, and long-term value.
