Ken Elwood is a Senior Project Designer in LS3P’s Savannah office with more than 36 years of experience in architectural design, visualization, and design technology. His career spans practice, research, and education, with a sustained focus on advancing digital tools and elevating visual communication throughout the design process. He holds both a Bachelor of Architecture and a Master of Architecture from Texas Tech University.

Ken has served in multiple academic leadership roles at Texas Tech and the Savannah College of Art and Design, including Professor of Architecture, Director of Electronic Design, Director of the Architectural Master’s Program, and Assistant Dean of the School of Building Arts. A recognized early innovator in computer‑aided design and emerging digital workflows, he helped shape the evolution of design visualization in both professional and academic settings.

Throughout his career, Ken has guided conceptual design efforts across a wide range of project types. His work emphasizes clarity, narrative, and the translation of early ideas into compelling visual directions that inform and strengthen final design outcomes.
