Emily Kite brings nearly 30 years of design and leadership experience in the Asheville area and has extensive experience designing for early childhood, K-12, and higher education clients. She is passionate about creating learning environments that support both teachers and students, meeting them where they are and helping them thrive. Emily is a member of the American Institute of Architects, a Leadership Asheville alumna (Class 44), and an Accredited Learning Environment Planner (ALEP) through the Association for Learning Environments. Her professional and civic service includes two terms as Chair of Asheville and Buncombe County’s Historic Resources Commission, as well as recent service on the Asheville Downtown Design Standards Review Committee.
