Grand Opening at Finlay Park

After 18 months of design and 2.5 years of construction, the City of Columbia officially reopened the park with a VIP ribbon-cutting ceremony, followed by a two-day music festival.

The city is thrilled to welcome the community back to a beautifully revitalized space featuring:
  • Waterfalls and ponds for remote boat sailing
  • Amenity streams throughout the park
  • Strolling gardens with art installations
  • Children’s play area and splash pad
  • Pickleball courts and a fitness pad
  • Our amenity center and a stunning stage area—the new focal point of the park
