Holistic Care Redesigned
The design creates an oasis for personalized experience throughout: from walking through the landscaped site, entering the light-filled glass lobby, and being escorted for care through one of the three exam pods. The spa-like concept hinges in plan with the lobby and patient care areas wrapping around a central courtyard, offering a peaceful atmosphere that connects to the surrounding cottage community and adjacent senior living facility. This thoughtful integration of nature and wellness continues on the second floor, where aesthetics and staff spaces open to outdoor terraces with expansive mountain views.
Design Details
The design intent was to create a calming, hospitality-inspired environment that redefines the clinical experience. The journey begins at the entry, where a landscaped approach and glass façade invite patients into a serene, light-filled lobby. The space is intentionally open and airy, with views to the courtyard that immediately establish a sense of tranquility. Natural materials, soft lighting, and a neutral palette contribute to the spa-like ambiance, setting the tone for a more personalized and less clinical experience. This atmosphere continues into the patient care areas, where wide corridors, minimal signage, and carefully selected finishes reduce visual clutter and support a sense of calm.
