Six Projects Recognized in 2026 SCBIZ Top Projects

The SCBIZ Top Projects is a recognition program to honor the best building and construction projects
in South Carolina in the previous year — and marvel at how these plans and projects remade the landmarks of the past or established the landmarks of the future. SCBIZ recognized the following LS3P projects:
 
  • Society at Laurens Apartments | CHS
    A mixed-used development featuring multifamily residential spaces, amenities, pop-up retail, and enclosed parking.
  • Pure Insurance Upfit at Pacific Box & Crate | CHS
    This “resi-mercial” upfit transforms a former tech workspace into the new headquarters for Pure, a high-end insurance company.
  • Abbeville High School Classroom Wing and Cafeteria Additions | GSP
    A new two-story educational wing and cafeteria building.
  • Dixie High School Classroom and Cafeteria Building Addition | GSP
    A new three-story precast addition.
  • eVac Magnetics Manufacturing Facility | GSP
    A design‑build manufacturing facility that supports eVAC Magnetics’ mission to reshore critical rare earth magnet production and strengthen the U.S. supply chain.
  • Finlay Park Revitalization (in association with Stantec) | CAE
    This comprehensive redesign of a landmark downtown Columbia park, focused on enhancing accessibility, safety, and community engagement.
