The facility is organized to provide a comprehensive continuum of care, including labor, delivery, recovery, postpartum, neonatal intensive care, pediatric intensive care, transitional pediatric care, pediatric inpatient services, and GYN/Oncology care. Thoughtful planning promotes efficient clinical operations while creating welcoming, supportive spaces that prioritize comfort, privacy, and family-centered care. A distinctive architectural identity reinforces the pavilion’s role as a recognizable healthcare destination within the broader medical campus.

As Associate Design Architect, LS3P collaborated on the design of a facility that not only expands specialized services but also serves as a catalyst for campus-wide transformation. By relocating key programs into the new pavilion, the project enabled the renovation of an existing nine-story patient tower, creating opportunities to significantly increase the number of private patient rooms and enhance the overall patient experience across the health system.
