A Campus Reimagined for the Future
Building upon an already successful retirement community, LS3P provided a wide range of design services to support the continued growth and evolution of the Wesley Commons campus. The multi-phase project included a new 80-bed Skilled Nursing Facility featuring 22 private rooms, 40 private rooms with shared bathrooms, and 18 private rehabilitation rooms, helping to facilitate the rebranding and repositioning of the entire community. Additional enhancements included the renovation and expansion of the existing Assisted Living and Memory Care facility, modernization of the Commons Building with a new commercial kitchen, upgrades to casual dining venues, and the addition of a 950 SF outdoor patio and pavilion. Together, these improvements create a cohesive campus environment that promotes comfort, connection, and quality of life.
Designing with Dignity, Compassion, & Choice
Central to the client’s mission is the belief that every resident deserves dignity, respect, and compassionate care regardless of financial circumstances. In close collaboration with the Wesley Commons team, the design solution provides a range of accommodation options that balance privacy, affordability, and operational efficiency, including both private rooms with en suite bathrooms and private rooms with shared bath facilities. Thoughtfully planned patient rooms create a nurturing and supportive environment for residents while maintaining an economical model for the community and a highly functional layout for caregivers. The result is a resident-centered design that supports wellness, independence, and compassionate care at every stage of the continuum.
