Adapting Learning Environments

The project renovates approximately 15,800 SF within the existing 21,220 SF Science Building, modernizing four adaptable laboratories for Microbiology, General Biology, Physics, and Anatomy & Physiology, along with associated preparation spaces. Beyond the labs, renovated offices, restrooms, and refreshed circulation areas create a cohesive and welcoming academic experience. A formerly underutilized lobby has been reimagined as an active student hub, offering breakout study zones, casual gathering spaces, and experiential graphics that foster engagement, collaboration, and a stronger sense of campus identity.

Future-Focused Design

Building-wide infrastructure upgrades introduce new mechanical and electrical systems that improve energy performance, meet current code requirements, and position the facility for future renewable energy integration. Accessibility improvements bring the building into alignment with current ADA standards, while thoughtful exterior enhancements strengthen both functionality and visual character. Together, these interventions create a unified vision for the building’s next chapter and establish a framework for future campus-wide modernization efforts.
