Tyler McKenzie, AIA, CPTED, is a registered architect with extensive experience planning, designing, and delivering K-12 educational facilities throughout the Carolinas. His portfolio includes new schools, additions, renovations, replacement facilities, athletic venues, performing arts spaces, cafeterias, and campus improvements for public school districts and higher education institutions. With a strong technical foundation and a commitment to thoughtful problem-solving, Tyler helps clients navigate complex projects while balancing functionality, safety, budget, and long-term value. His experience spans all phases of project delivery, from design development and construction documentation to consultant coordination and construction administration.

As a Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) professional, Tyler brings specialized expertise in creating secure, welcoming learning environments that support student success and community engagement. Prior to focusing primarily on educational facilities, Tyler gained experience in residential, private-sector, and nonprofit renovation projects, building a strong appreciation for existing-building conditions, adaptive design strategies, and client-centered solutions.
