The 119,000 SF, one-story school is designed to accommodate 900 students to help alleviate the unprecedented growth in the area. The modern, efficient, and environmentally responsible design evolved from its rich agricultural context while simultaneously embracing the rise of manufacturing along the I-85 corridor through form, material, and program. As a family of facilities in the district, the elementary school is a sister to Abner Creek Middle School and Wellford Elementary School, and as such, will share similar aesthetics.
