A Community Hub

At the heart of the expansion is a transformative lobby and atrium that redefines the arrival experience. Conceived as an indoor courtyard, the space encloses a previously underutilized exterior courtyard to create a year-round destination for fellowship, interaction, and community life. Natural light filters through clerestory windows above, filling the volume with warmth and creating an inviting setting for worshippers and special events alike. As the congregation’s central hub, the atrium fosters connection by bringing people together in a welcoming and highly visible gathering space.

Design Details

The new contemporary worship center provides a permanent home for a service that had long outgrown its temporary setting in the church gymnasium. Designed to cultivate a shared sense of participation and engagement, the 1,200-seat auditorium features a carefully crafted elliptical seating arrangement that draws the congregation closer to the worship experience. Paired with modern support and education spaces, the facility creates an environment that supports both spiritual growth and the evolving needs of the church community.
