The 45,000 SF facility is purpose-built to advance Piedmont Technical College’s manufacturing curriculum, providing specialized training spaces for welding, CNC machining, machine tool operations, coordinate measuring machine (CMM) technology, and mechatronics. Classrooms, faculty offices, and support spaces are strategically integrated alongside the labs, creating seamless connections between instruction and hands-on application. The design emphasizes visibility, collaboration, and experiential learning, preparing students to transition directly into high-demand careers throughout the region.
