Rising along the oceanfront in the heart of downtown Myrtle Beach, this 25-story dual-branded Marriott development introduces the city’s first SpringHill Suites and Courtyard Marriott hotel tower, reimagining the coastal hospitality experience through a design inspired by the region’s native maritime forests. Featuring 230 guest rooms, including 46 suites, the hotel combines contemporary accommodations with thoughtfully curated amenities, including a fitness center, resort-style pool deck, lazy river, and an expansive Bistro restaurant, creating a destination that celebrates both relaxation and connection.
Design Details
As the centerpiece of a multi-phase redevelopment effort, the project transforms a prominent beachfront site into a vibrant hospitality destination that strengthens connections between visitors, the shoreline, and the surrounding urban fabric. A distinctive beach access promenade welcomes pedestrians and seamlessly links the property to Myrtle Beach’s park system, extending the public realm and enhancing the arrival experience. Through architecture, landscape, and placemaking, the development establishes a new gateway to the waterfront while drawing inspiration from the natural character that originally defined the Myrtle Beach coastline.
