The new hospital supports a comprehensive range of surgical and inpatient services, including operating rooms, perioperative care, laboratory, pharmacy, sterile processing, and food service functions. Planned with future expansion in mind, the facility balances immediate healthcare needs with the flexibility to accommodate evolving models of care. Adjacent outpatient services within the Patewood Drive Medical Office Building further strengthen the campus, creating a connected environment that supports seamless patient experiences across the continuum of care.
Design Details
Guided by Novant Health’s design standards and campus master plan, the project integrates architecture, landscape, and infrastructure to create a cohesive healing environment. A highly collaborative design process brought together healthcare leaders, stakeholders, consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies to align project goals from concept through delivery. The resulting design reflects a thoughtful balance of functionality, patient-centered design, cost stewardship, and operational flexibility, creating a healthcare campus positioned to serve the Greenville community for years to come.
