At the heart of the 300,000 SF campus is a six-story central atrium that serves as both an organizational and social anchor, fostering interaction across four state agencies while supporting secure and efficient operations. Shared meeting spaces, coworking environments, and collaborative work areas encourage cross-agency engagement and adaptability, creating a modern workplace designed to evolve alongside the needs of North Carolina’s educational and economic development organizations. The design concept, “Weaving Through North Carolina,” is expressed throughout the architecture and interiors, connecting people and place through a cohesive narrative inspired by the state’s identity.
