Mary Beth Sims Branham, AIA, has over 40 years of experience in school projects and is LS3P’s National Market Leader for K-12. She has become a thought leader around the state (and beyond) for her expertise in public educational facilities. She is current in best practices for the design of leading-edge learning environments and is highly experienced in navigating complex institutional projects at all phases of design and construction. Due to her innate ability to collaborate with clients and understand the users’ needs, Mary Beth serves as the Programming and Community Engagement Leader on many of our projects. She is highly skilled at programming and initial design stages of projects.
Originally from Columbia, SC, Mary Beth opened LS3P’s Columbia office in May 2004, the first start-up office for the firm. Celebrating its 15th anniversary in 2019, the office has become one of the premier architecture and interior design offices in the Midlands. In addition to leading the office, she is highly involved in the initial stages of projects with a passion for community engagement, programming, and design.
