As LS3P’s Chief Practice Officer, Laura Miller brings extensive experience across a diverse portfolio of project types. Her strength lies in building meaningful relationships with clients and building users to understand how people experience the built environment from every perspective. This approach informs her firmwide oversight of design excellence, technical quality, project management, research, innovation, and building performance.

Laura has dedicated her career to providing exceptional service and creating projects that are meaningful, inspirational, and functional. She joined LS3P in 2000 and quickly established herself as a trusted architect and project manager across a wide range of project types. Laura’s work has been recognized with design awards from AIA North Carolina, AIA Wilmington, and Lower Cape Fear Stewardship.

Laura has demonstrated a strong commitment to both the profession and her community through leadership and service. She served as President of AIA Wilmington in 2010 and President of AIA North Carolina in 2022, helping advance the practice of architecture and advocate for the profession at the local and state levels. Her civic involvement includes service on the Wilmington Planning Commission, the Wilmington Downtown Inc. Board of Directors, and Greater Wilmington Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.
