Vice President and Principal Jim Hubbard serves as the Myrtle Beach location Hospitality Market Leader and Senior Project Manager. Jim strives to create a culture of design service as a trusted advisor to the client, the firm, the project’s construction team, and, most importantly, the community. He carefully plans for the seamless progression of a client’s project through varied economic conditions and circumstances. He listens to understand his clients’ and contractors’ needs, and if those needs are unclear, he asks questions.

His presence and professional leadership extend beyond the Horry-Georgetown/Grand Strand area. He is the past president of AIA South Carolina, whose mission is to engage policymakers and the public in shaping the built environment for the public good. His architectural design and planning expertise includes long-range master planning; community facilities; high-rise, resort, clubhouse, restaurant, retail, multifamily, and hospitality projects; and services ranging from initial marketing strategy through construction administration.

Through his design service, Jim has successfully managed more than $1.5 billion in development costs across a wide range of project types. His experience ranges from managing a single $150 million tower project to overseeing multiple projects with smaller budgets. With nearly three decades of experience in the Horry and Georgetown County area, Jim has earned a reputation for delivering projects on time and within budget.
