As Architect of Record in association with Flad Architects and Foil Wyatt Architects, LS3P helped deliver the new Harvey S. Peeler Jr. College of Veterinary Medicine (PCVM), South Carolina’s first veterinary medicine program. The campus supports Clemson University’s land grant mission through education, research, clinical practice, and community service.

Preparing the Next Generation of Veterinarians
Designed around a whole-student approach, the PCVM campus brings together academic, clinical, research, and community-focused spaces that support both learning and wellbeing. Flexible classrooms accommodate a variety of teaching methods, while clinical teaching laboratories provide hands-on experience through real-world simulation and practice. The campus also includes a community clinic, research facilities supporting One Health initiatives, and dedicated equine and farm animal teaching buildings, creating a comprehensive environment for veterinary education and training.
A Campus Connected to Place
Located within Clemson University’s Experimental Forest, the campus responds to its agrarian setting and gently sloping terrain through a collection of buildings organized around a central quad. The Hub serves as the primary gathering space for campus life, connecting students, faculty, and staff through academic, support, and office spaces. A ring service road links the campus’s academic, clinical, research, ambulatory, and infrastructure facilities, creating a cohesive environment that supports collaboration, wellness, and experiential learning both indoors and outdoors.
