This STEM Science Building Addition for Cary Academy is the first new building project from the school’s 2015 Master Plan. This building creates a new STEM innovation lab and 6 science labs, and it expands the popular student commons to allow even more area for students to gather and collaborate. The facility is part of the school’s well-utilized Sports Education Annex Building.

The master plan included a detailed assessment of existing campus facilities and provided a comprehensive framework for possible future renovations and new construction. Possible future construction projects include renovations to the existing academic, athletic, and fine arts facilities; improvements to pedestrian and vehicular traffic flow; and upgrades to improve coordination and consistency in the architectural style of the campus.
