This past Friday, several members of the project team attended a topping out ceremony of the North Carolina Education Campus, hosted by the construction management tri-venture team – Balfour Beatty, Barnhill Construction, and Metcon. The 300,000 SF, 8-story building will house the NC Department of Instruction, the UNC Systems Office, the NC Community Colleges Office, and the NC Department of Commerce. The building is scheduled to be completed in late 2027. Congratulations to the project team on reaching this milestone, and thank you to the many, many other team members who have contributed to this project but aren’t pictured here!
