As a board member for CREW in the Midlands for the last three years, and serving on the Scholarship and UCREW committee, Margaret Clarkson has been working with the deans and professors at Darla Moore School of Business at University of South Carolina coordinating with professors and moderating panels and guest speakers to speak to the students in the Commercial Real Estate programs.

CREW offers a scholarship program for rising juniors and seniors who are interested in pursuing a career in commercial real estate and/or related fields. For this particular class, there were 60+ in attendance and she asked Braden Shockley, SIOR a broker with Trinity Partners to speak about his experiences and also Lauren Dodd with Colliers to also be a part of the program.

Earlier in the semester she also moderated panels consisting of Molly Campolong with Robinson Gray law firm, Hope Andrews with NAI, and Lindsey Yarborough with Mashburn Construction to speak on their experiences and offer advice to students.
