Guided by a “building in the park” concept, The Jasper is positioned at the center of the site and surrounded by generous landscaped setbacks that create a strong connection to nearby public amenities. Retail, office, and residential uses are carefully integrated around a concealed parking structure, supporting an active streetscape while maintaining a refined residential character.
Architectural Character & Materials
The Jasper draws inspiration from several notable historic Charleston buildings, including the People’s Building, Fort Sumter House, and the Francis Marion Hotel. The taller residential tower reflects traditional Charleston architectural principles through a highly articulated base, a simple and elegant center shaft, and classically detailed upper levels that celebrate the cornice and frieze at the roofline.
