Columbia recently celebrated the groundbreaking of the new Savannah Grove Elementary School and County Recreation Facility in Florence, SC. The 90,073 SF replacement school will serve approximately 725 students and is designed as an adaptation of the College Park Elementary prototype. The County Recreation Facility consists of five ball fields and a shared concessions building. It is a CM @ Risk delivery method with Thompson Turner Construction and is set to open in 2027.
