A Place Reimagined
The first revitalization established a bold, character-rich home for Pacific Box & Crate, embracing the authenticity of the existing structures while creating a workplace that reflected an entrepreneurial culture. By preserving the building and introducing modern, functional elements, the design celebrated the site’s industrial heritage while fostering an engaging, people-centered environment.
Evolving Through Adaptive Reuse
Nearly a decade later, LS3P returned to re-envision the property for PURE Insurance, adapting the space to support a new brand, evolving workplace needs, and a hospitality-driven experience. Enhanced daylighting and a refined, minimalist aesthetic balanced respect for the building’s identity with a new vision for the future. Together, both transformations demonstrate how adaptive reuse can unlock long-term value, allowing a place to evolve over time while maintaining its character, strengthening its connection to Charleston, and aligning with each client’s culture and goals.
