Confidential Corporate Headquarters Customer Support Center

Mooresville, NC

The third phase of construction for this Corporate Headquarters campus master plan includes 2 high-rise towers which are interconnected on every level with elevated pedestrian bridges. The first floor features a 147-seat auditorium with stadium seating, and meeting rooms designed to accommodate from 12 to 300 people. Other amenities include a cafeteria and seating area, pre-function areas, an operations command center, IT labs, building services, and 2 parking decks. Typical floor plates are 47,300 SF, each accommodating approximately 200 people with 8% of those in private offices.

The east-west orientation of the building facilitates daylighting, with shading devices and light shelves to control the amount of natural light. Glazing on the east and west facades is limited in order to minimize solar heat gain and glare. LS3P is responsible for master planning, building design, interior architecture, and furniture systems for the new phases of the Lowe’s Headquarters campus.

The interiors for this corporate headquarters offer a variety of office configurations, from open offices to transparent yet enclosed spaces, to support both collaboration and privacy. Expansive glass creates a visual connection to the outdoors from workspaces, and provides abundant natural light. Warm wood accents, a sophisticated palette of neutral colors, and a diverse mix of textures all complement the modern workplace aesthetic.
