Tell us about your role at LS3P.

I am an Interior Designer with LS3P, I have been lucky enough to work on a plethora of project types and with an amazing group of people. An Interior Designer’s role at LS3P includes all phases of design, selecting appropriate FF&E, collaborating with team members, and working on projects that put design first.

What’s inspiring you right now?

One of my main sources of inspiration is fine art, I enjoy visiting galleries and following artists on social media. Some of my current favorites are Hayden Alexander, CJ Hendry, and Diane Kilgore.

What is your favorite hometown restaurant, and what should I order if I go there?

The Trappe Door in Greenville, SC, conveniently located across the street from LS3P’s Greenville Office. I love the mood of the restaurant. It is below grade and has a European Pub feel. Makes me want to travel, ASAP! Everything is amazing there, I would definitely recommend any Belgian beer they have on tap and pair it with the Moules Frites (mussels and fries).

What advice would you give to someone just starting out in your role?

Be flexible, ready to learn and most importantly ask questions. You’ll have a great foundation from school, but the real world is different. You’ll be part of a team, the clients have budgets and deadlines, and it may feel like you’re drinking from a firehose at some points – but, you will start to become familiar with processes and everything will be instinctive after a few months. Hang in there!

What is your all-time favorite song?

It’s basic, but Taylor Swift – All Too Well. Especially, her performing it live at the Grammy’s. My dad will be upset I didn’t choose something from Queen or Journey, since I was raised on 80’s rock music and absolutely love the genre. So, I will give those bands an honorable mention.
