The house is located on a sloping promontory overlooking one of the Blue Ridge Mountain’s finest freshwater lakes. The residence is comprised of 8,000 square feet of space, divided equally between two floors. Five bedrooms, two sitting rooms and two kitchens allow for large family gatherings at the lake. Three decks and a stone terrace encourage outdoor living and provide ample platforms for viewing the surroundings below. Wood and stone provide a simple, natural material palette that serves to root the house firmly within its setting.
