This unique four-story building combines a traditional look with an innovative construction method. Masonry-faced prestressed concrete panels expedited and simplified the construction on this restrictive site in Greenville’s downtown. The total project was completed and occupied within eleven months of the beginning of the design process and eight months from the start of construction.
The collaborative design/construction process continued through the building shell construction and into the tenant upfits on all four floors. The interior design of the corporate offices and banking headquarters was completed in six weeks, including all furniture and finish selections. The upfit construction was able to commence once a section of the four-story building was completed. The result was concurrent construction of the building shell and the tenant upfits.
