Phillips Place Lifestyle Center

Phillips Place occupies a 35-acre site in SouthPark. Components are 100,000 SF of retail/restaurant space, a 30,000 SF 10-plex movie theater, a 124-suite hotel, and 402 multi-family residential units and parking. The vision for Phillips Place was to integrate these components into a unique, pedestrian-friendly environment organized around an interior “main street,” Phillips Place Court.  The main street is an outdoor public living room with pedestrian promenades and cast stone fountains.

The retail/restaurant spaces accommodate second-level mezzanine space. The south side of 3-story buildings are ground-level retail with multi-family housing in a mixture of two-story townhouses and flats. A theater anchors the eastern terminus.  A six-story hotel anchors the west. The 75, 560 SF mixed-use Allen Tate Building occupies the western edge.

The buildings are designed in a simple classical palette establishing a visual cohesion. Different coloration of the synthetic stucco allows variety.
