The Greenville County School District selected LS3P to design a new replacement facility for Wade Hampton High School. The new 253,500 SF high school is being constructed on the same site as the existing facility, while the existing facility remains operational throughout the construction phases. The new building will house 1,250 students and 65 teachers and staff and will feature an auditorium, a media center, art studios, instructional performance areas, and science laboratories.
A portion of the school’s existing athletic fields will be relocated to a nearby remote site due to the existing site limitations. The new remote athletic complex will consist of baseball, soccer, and track facilities with a concession stand and press box.
