GALLERY BAR AND RESTAURANT AT THE BALLANTYNE RESORT

LS3P ASSOCIATES LTD. provided interior architecture services for the renovation
of the Ballantyne Resort’s lobby, restaurant, kitchen and bar. The project was
driven by the Client’s desire to refresh the existing interior, and transform a simple dining room into an intimate, yet energetic bar that would become The Gallery
Restaurant.

The renovated area is comprised of approximately 2,000 SF. The classical lobby
flows past heavy wood doors, welcoming patrons to the simple elegance of the bar.
From inside the bar, one can pause to enjoy a view of the golf course or move
into the restaurant to be seated for full course dining. These spaces flow into one
another through doors that swing open 180 degrees to celebrate the notion of
enticement.

Warm, dark mahogany walls and hand scraped wood floors lend a feeling of timeless
elegance. Back-lit onyx panels are a glowing focal point behind the marble-topped
bar. Flanking the bar are two vast wine storage units recessed into the walls. The
dramatic beamed ceiling has a high sheen that reflects the soft lighting from two
simple yet sleek chandeliers that complete the look.
