Woven into the fabric of the urban city street, this exclusive clothing boutique features inspired elegantly proportioned, neoclassical detailing. Residential-style rooms knitted together with arched openings inspired the store’s layout. At the entrance, a richly colored wood plank floor is a welcome invitation to inquisitive shoppers. Specialty retail lighting highlights custom designed display tables and shelving of rich mahogany wood. A seating area, created to emulate a study, is complete with a cozy fireplace accompanied by bookshelves displaying colorful apparel. The ceiling, made of formed plaster in a hexagonal web shape, provides an umbrella effect to further define the space as the embodiment of a gracious, formal living room. Through the success of this project, LS3P was hired to design additional retail stores throughout the United States.
