The 575,000 SF Replacement Hospital features a seven-story Patient Tower and a
four-story Diagnostic and Treatment building that are linked by a monumental glass
conservatory that houses entry and registration functions. The patient tower houses
156-inpatient bed tower consisting of 124 surgical beds and 32 critical care beds.
The diagnostic and treatment building houses a 42,000 SF heart center (four cath
labs, two EP labs, one Stereotaxis room, a dedicated chest pain center, and an
outpatient diagnostic clinic), a 41,500 SF surgical department (nine conventional
suites; four CTORs, four general ORs, and one vascular OR), a 16,000 SF
interventional radiology suite, a 20,000 SF diagnostic radiology suite, and a
30,500 SF Digestive Disease Center (nine endoscopy units, two motility rooms,
and a dedicated ambulatory care clinic).
