COMPLEX FOR ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT - PHASE II | TRIDENT TECHNICAL COLLEGE
North Charleston, SC
In remarks made during his visit to Trident Technical College’s Complex for Industrial and Economic Development while campaigning for his wife Hillary, President Bill Clinton proclaimed the project was “an awesome facility” with “good vibes.” His feelings reflect the community’s embrace of the structure that houses the college’s Hotel, Tourism and Culinary Arts Department, Information Technology Department and Electro-Mechanical Skills Labs. The project, which was a renovation of an old warehouse, provides unique teaching spaces as well as venues for community events that allow students to learn in a creative environment, while enabling the community to share in this cutting-edge building.
