Charlotte South Fellowship is a young and growing fellowship that began in 1999 with just 8 people. By the fall of 2003, 600 people were attending on a typical weekend. In order to keep up with the growth, LS3P was selected to design a new 700-seat worship facility that reflects and compliments the surrounding neighborhood. The project includes an elementary school auditorium and surrounding break-out space with the ability to add on a secondary education wing in the near future. The worship auditorium has a performance stage with rear-lit projection screens. A new courtyard provides space for gathering and fellowship. The facility incorporated various building materials such as tilt-up concrete panels, masonry, and aluminum storefront.
