Lancaster City Hall was constructed in the heart of a newly revitalized downtown and incorporated the shell of an existing 4,000 SF bank branch, circa 1962, which had been used as the city offices for several years. For a strong civic appeal, the new 8,000 SF addition and the existing building were wrapped and completely renovated in a classical style, complete with a cupola and pergola. The building houses administrative offices, a 75-seat council chamber and the financial and utility billing departments.
