Brian Bresg, LS3P Associate Principal, offers more than 15 years of specialized experience in the aviation and transportation sector.  Notable recent projects include managing and directing the entire design scope of services for the CLT airport project, and providing design services for new terminal and concourse development, existing terminal and concourse expansion, baggage handling systems, implementation of FIDS, RIDS and CUPPS systems, facility central energy plans, airline hospitality clubs, terminal and concourse retail, and structured parking decks.

With a significant background in aviation facility planning, architecture, and management, Brian is highly skilled at all project phases including planning, design, technical coordination, and construction contract administration. As a senior aviation project manager and lead technical architect, he is responsible for collaborating with project leadership, obtaining consensus among stakeholders, implementing sound work planning and phasing processes, and coordinating multiple engineering and special systems consultants. He has been primarily focused on large-scale aviation and transportation-oriented projects, while specializing in successful design-bid-build project scenarios. An experienced designer, technical specialist, and code analyst, Brian is assigned to LS3P’s most complex projects.

Brian works in an integrated fashion with project teams to set a collaborative tone for project delivery. From inception to successful completion, Brian monitors and influences project budgets and schedules as necessary to facilitate a timely delivery within allocated budgets. Through a diverse and global body of aviation project experience, he has a broad perspective and strong working knowledge of coordinating complex operational needs. Brian is particularly skilled at phasing work to maintain operations during construction, accommodating the unique needs of airport concessionaires, and master planning for the various detailed functional components of an airport complex.

During his time away from the office, Brian enjoys his family and travel.  He is a musician and enjoys playing acoustic guitar, electric guitar, and electric bass in several ongoing projects. He also enjoys finding and restoring vintage tube amplifiers, often playing through amplifiers he’s built or restored himself. A true ‘car guy’ since he was child, Brian enjoys auto road racing immensely, and participates in high performance driving events throughout the year.
