This project for an automotive complex linked five buildings of varied design, age, and use, creating a single U-shaped building pad totally 54,000 SF. Program spaces include two showrooms with an enclosed service drive, and space for customer waiting area, sales, accounting, and service functions. The varied uses of the complex, from high-end auto sales to automobile service bays, required careful design of adjoining walls to protect different occupancies from the threat of fire, fumes and noise. Upgraded waiting and sales areas offer expansive windows into service spaces so that customers can observe the technicians at work for an engaging and worry-free experience.
